Kim was referred to us through a friend of ours who described her as the best realtor in the state, and she was entirely correct. This was the first home-buying experience for my wife and I and the unchartered territory brought many unexpected surprises and lingering doubts. What made Kim such a perfect match for us was her knowledge of the industry, her ability to educate and inform us throughout the process, and her knack for delivering exactly what we were looking for in the perfect neighborhoods for our family. With the aggressive market in mind, Kim was able to land us the first and only viewing of what would later become our dream home in a flawless neighborhood. Without her, we never would have found the right house, let alone our dream home.

My wife and I decided to use Kim as our realtor to buy and sell our home after multiple less than stellar experiences with others. One of the first things she did was ask us to describe exactly what we were looking for, something to our continued surprise, no other agent had ever bothered to ask. Kim was always extremely patient, thorough and honest to work with as we navigated the buy and selling process, the latter of which was completely new to us.  To add to an already stressful process, it would end up that we would be completing the process right as COVID-19 lockdowns were going into full swing, putting our closing date into jeopardy.  Kim followed up with all parties on a daily basis to ensure everything would happen on time and allow us much needed breathing room to focus on moving.  Kim was the person we wanted on our side when things were difficult and would recommend her to anyone looking to buy or sell a home.

I don't buy or sell a house very often, so when I do, I seek out expert assistance. I found that expert in Kim Horvath for a recent sale of our house. Kim was very helpful in assessing the market and helping establish a listing price. She provided invaluable advice along the way on how to best present the house. If you've sold a home lately, you are aware of the long list of documents involved, all of which need to be completed and signed-off in a timely fashion in order to proceed with the sale. Kim stayed on top of all the paperwork and answered all my questions patiently. With all the prep work done, the listing written, and the property ready to be shown, we had a qualified buyer in record time. Closing could not have gone more smoothly. Every step of the way, I honestly believe that Kim represented our interests well and genuinely cared about us. I will happily recommend Kim as the Real Estate Agent to contact for all my friends, whether buying or selling.

We are so very pleased to recommend Ms. Kim Horvath and her team at Residential Properties, LTD, and to share some of our experience during the recent sale of our home in Cumberland. When we decided to finally begin the journey of preparing our house for market, we met with several leading local and nationally-known realtors in order to get a sense of what to expect, and to identify the group with whom we felt most comfortable to present our home throughout the process.  While there are plenty of professionals in the field from which to select, Kim Horvath at Residential Properties stood out in her passion for what she does, her knowledge of our specific market in Northern Rhode Island, and her skill at recognizing what best to tackle prior to listing our home in the best possible light.  Once we formalized our listing, Kim knew exactly how and where to share the profile of our property to maximum effect. Our home happened to be an older, traditional house, competing with much newer, more contemporary properties in our neighborhood.  Kim has a keen, experienced eye for what will appeal to potential buyers, and advised us on how to best to update and highlight the features of our home which would set it apart in a crowded field.  Her expertise was spot-on.  Even leading up to the last moments before an Open House, her attention to detail was immensely helpful.Perhaps somewhat unique to our situation, we had lived at our home for almost 20 years, and absolutely adored the property – we always knew it would be an emotional parting, but we needed to down-size and move closer to family some distance away. Kim’s compassion and patience were so very appreciated.  And she is such a diligent worker!  Our greatest hope was that our home would go to the right family, and Kim absolutely found the perfect folks to fall in love with our home.  What we knew would be a challenging transition was made so much more achievable and rewarding because of her calm, reassuring attitude.  We are confident that the full and varied skill set Kim and her team at Residential Properties used to great success in representing our property will continue to serve and optimize the experiences of her future clients.  Her customers benefit from a unique, caring depth of knowledge and guidance – they are in excellent hands.

As first time home buyers we required guidance and a dedicated agent to assist us in this new and exciting experience. Thankfully, Kim was there every step of the way with words of wisdom, attention to detail, and always had our best interest in mind. Kim made sure to always keep us in the loop. She listened and took note of our wants and needs in a home and ultimately helped find us our first home, which is perfect for us! Kim turned this stressful process into an enjoyable and memorable time. We highly recommend Kim for a successful home buying/selling experience. We wouldn’t have been able to do it without you!
