Ted is a pleasure to work with. His expansive and nuanced knowledge of the housing market helped my wife and I find a house we love in an extremely competitive market when we were in a situation where we couldn't compete. I would trust him to help us find another home in a heartbeat.
Ted is a '5-tool player' in Seattle real estate. He knows the entire area - he helped us sell our Shoreline home in a heartbeat and then searched region wide for our perfect new home in the south end. He made a detailed readiness list and gave us the right work to do, and was extremely patient as we trekked through dozens upon dozens of new homes until we landed in our new, perfect place. He is fast, responsive, and just goofy enough to keep you sane for the duration of the adventure.
Ted is great! We looked with him for a few weeks in August & early September. I consider him a lucky accident (or not!) that he was one of two realtors who contacted us after we looked online for condos. He sent an email, then phoned a day later. I immediately 'clicked' with him as a potential realtor, by the way he spoke, listened to me, a retired social worker, from the Midwest, and tuned into my wave length. He quickly understood what we were looking for and didn't waste HIS time or ours by showing us anything below our criteria. He is intuitive to our wants, needs and the boundaries we set. My husband is knowledgeable re: architecture, structure, building, & is a skeptical buyer. Ted recognized it instantly & was more than appropriate & generous re: respecting his knowledge & listening well. He would point out potential problems, or great qualities we may have overlooked. I'm returning to Seattle in two days to continue our search. Ted is aware & I look forward to working with him again. A great benefit is that we both have the same opinion of his ability & that is rare! (To find something we agree on)

Ted has been our agent on 3 real estate deals over the past 10 years, the most recent being the purchase of our dream home. We spent 3 solid years looking for it. During that time Ted must have met us 100 times to show us various properties, including multiple visits to houses that we ultimately passed on. I suspect most agents would have cut their losses a year or two in...not Ted. Not only did he stay the course, but he never once showed an ounce of frustration with the process. I mean let's face it...we were probably more difficult than most. Two months ago Ted brought a listing to us. We fell in love with the house immediately and made an offer. There were some nuances and complexities to the negotiation that Ted handled with ease. Anyway, we couldn't be happier with our new home, and we struggle to even find the words to properly convey our gratitude to Ted. All we can say is 'hire this guy'!
Ted was the best realtor experience we have ever had!! We had talked to a few before meeting with him and my husband was sold right when he met him.
He has a lot of knowledge and tricks up his sleeve about how the market and other realtors work. Selling our place was painless and he made it extremlamly easy while working with us and our interesting situation.
He knows the business and provides a sense of ease, comfort and trust in his ability to do the absolute best he can for you.
One of the biggest surprises was he came in and staged the entire place with his own stuff, and even helped fix little things that broke or needed parts that I hadn't been able to find for years, and he found it in a day and replaced it himself.
I can't rave about him enough!!
And if you read this you NEED to use him as your realtor you will not regret it!! I will be giving all my friends his number when they decide to go buy or sell.
