Phil was very diligent in staying in touch and marketing the home. We don't know how the industry works and what practices are not allowed or out of bounds, but maybe there could be a way to connect with local realtors, even from other agencies, to identify a larger group of possible buyers. We appreciated Phil's patience and efforts to head off potential buyer concerns as they considered the purchase. He conducted himself in ethical and honest way throughout.
As always Phil goes beyond just being the middle man; he always made sure I understood the steps, helped me understand the loan process and checked in with me often.

We met Phil once in person--we were with him for an afternoon of condo searching. From that point, we returned home to New York and talked with Phil via email, text, and phone. From the very first house we looked at with him, we had complete confidence in him. He was exceedingly knowledgeable and honestly shared his advice with us. After we left Holland, he visited any home we asked him to, looking at it carefully and closely. He listened to us and he knew what we liked and disliked. He knew what we should appreciate and what we should be wary of. Perhaps the best sign of our complete faith in Phil was the fact that we bought our current condo sight unseen. While we looked at it often on Zillow, we never saw it in person until after we closed on the mortgage. Phil walked through it several times for us, he took pictures, he followed up on the inspection and found a contractor for us. He is always more than willing to help us and answer our questions. Even after we closed, he is still working for us. For example, since we are new to the area, he is finding a handy man for us.
