I’ve known Derrick for years and had always hoped to have the opportunity to work with him. I tend to operate with a high degree of anxiety and can be stubborn and very determined to get exactly what I want, even when it’s not entirely realistic. Derrick never pushed too hard or made me feel foolish for my expectations, and he managed to humor me with patience and grace, even when I was occasionally bordering on delusion.
In the end, we were able to purchase a home that was larger than we ever expected, checked all of our hypothetical boxes, and was perfectly located in the neighborhood we were determined to stay in. We couldn’t have done it without our agent, who we now also consider a friend.
As a side note, Derrick truly knows who to call for everything. He helped us find an excellent lender after our original one ghosted us, and he connected us with experienced professionals who made the inspection process smoother and more affordable than it otherwise would have been. Even now, I continue to use him as a resource because he always seems to have an answer.
