Rachel Sheftel is a truly wonderful real estate agent. We met her at an open house she was hosting and quickly connected. We were working with another agent/not actively looking at that time, but she put us on her email listserve. My husband and I really appreciated the data-driven weekly newsletter she sent out. When we circled back with her a year later she remembered who we were and quickly got to work for us. Rachel was *never* pushy but was so attentive. Many agents will tell you that they are in this for the people they work for and their biggest joy is finding a house for their clients, but for many of them that is lip service. Not true for Rachel. She genuinely just wanted to get to know us and help us find our dream home, which she eventually did! We went on many many showings with Rachel. They would last hours. She was so patient with us throughout the entire process. Always matching our pace. When it came to the condo that we loved, she spent so much energy and time going over the disclosures, arranging multiple visits, getting the actual inspector on the phone with us to reassure us, and staying up late to help us craft our offer over pizza. Which was accepted with no counters! Rachel is incredibly generous and kind and will put in the work for you. We so appreciate how everything she told us was rooted in research and evidence. She became a trusted confidant and friend in this process and I am so grateful we met her! I cannot recommend her enough to other buyers, especially first-time home buyers!

Rachel is a true gem. Buying a house can be a long and drawn out process. Rachel not only showed immense patience with us, but also she truly invested in us, taking the time to learn our needs, likes, and dreams. She seriously went above and beyond to get to know us not only as two random numbers searching for a place with four walls, but as people looking to find a home. Rachel’s work ethic is unparalleled. She held our hand every step of the way, answering our pesky texts with at odd hours and even showing up on short notice to show us a house. Rachel is incredibly meticulous and conscientious. Every time we had interest in a house she would thoroughly read all the disclosures and point out what she saw as red flags. When we actually started closing on a house she even found us a new home inspector on short notice because she noticed the disclosures were not thoroughly completed. We could go on and on about Rachel’s accolades but mostly what mattered most to us is that simply that Rachel cared and she showed us the utmost respect during a crazy time while making a huge life decision. Rachel was my realtor for an acquisition I closed recently. I could not say enough good things about her! Beside doing all the things that a decent realter normally do (i.e. sending interesting listings, scheduling and showing units), she did so much more! First of all, she did a detailed analysis on every property I showed interest and requested for a showing! She always has her magic notebook and a pen in her hands, and has followed up on all the small questions or inquiries after! She is a relatively new realtor, but she has great curiosity and abilities to learn! I was impressed with her knowledge level from building's physical conditions to city regulations and to the loan and deal closing process. She is very approachable and caring. During the process of finding the right property and closing the deal, I never felt she was trying to sell me a deal. Instead, she and her team were my second set of eyes on examining deals and buildings, my sounding board on issues and decision makings, and my professional due diligent and negotiation team. I am an experienced investor and have done over 20 deals in the last 10 years. She and her team were absolutely the best realtors among all the realtors I have worked with so far. I highly recommend her!

David is diamond in the rough: a true gentlemen and humble advocate for you in a sea of slick and sometimes slippery brokers. He has phenomenal local knowledge and is a walking encyclopedia of building and engineering know-how. He delivered in a big way helping us find and then successfully purchase our dream home in the best location. Not only is he a tremendous resource himself, he has a wide network of associates and contacts to cover almost anything you would need to close. Above all else, he is one of the nicest and most genuine person you will ever meet!

We have know David since we first moved into the neighborhood 4 years but as a neighbor not a Realtor. We found him to be great neighbor, wonderful father and more importantly, a honest and trustworthy man. He really surprised us at our first meeting. David came prepared with extensive research and talked about his business practice. He immediately won us over. My wife and I had the best experience working with David. He brought in great inspectors to inspect the house, recommended contractors, and was very active in the pre / post sale preparation stage. We loved the story he told about our house and the neighborhood. We had multiple offers all over asking price with no contingencies and closed within 21 days. David was very attentive, focused on our needs, and helped us find the home we wanted in the desired timeframe.

David helped us buy our first house. He was extremely patient and responsive as we looked at many houses that were not appropriate for us and homed in on what we actually needed. He was able to point us toward homes that were more likely to meet our requirements. When our offer on the house we really wanted was finally accepted, he was completely on top of the process, having the various inspectors ready to go, and being there to supervise and transmit the findings back to us in a timely manner. We had a very difficult seller, and he was able to help us through that minefield, talking them away from the edge of the cliff several times. When our financing was having issues, he was able to help us keep the deal together. I can't say much about his negotiation skill, as this was not really an option for us with the seller we were dealing with. Overall, the process of buying our house was not a particularly pleasant one: we looked for a long time, the other side in our deal was very difficult to handle, and dealing with the banks was a nightmare. David was the only thing that kept us sane through that six month period. He was always available to offer advice and talk us through the next steps.

David went above an beyond to help us buy our first home, and find the perfect house for us in Crocker Highlands. He emailed us weekly with new homes, researched the homes that we found on our own, and gave great insight on potential purchases. David knows a great deal about home construction and was able to give great feedback on what a home would need if we bought it, and how much that would cost. Throughout our five month process David became a good friend and the only person I would trust with this process. Not only was he great when we were looking for a home, but once in contract his attention to detail, timeliness, and report with other agents and servicemen proved incredibly helpful. Its a tumultuous market out there, and David is the right guy to lead you through it. I recommend him highly, and would use him again if I didn't now live in my dream home.
