10/13/2015We met Wendy Chen-Shen by chance at an open house and although that house was not what we were looking for, she was helpful and very friendly so we gave her our information and she helped us to find and purchase our dream home. We told her we were only looking to buy in a years time but that did not stop her from helping us and answering many questions since we had not decided on an area. She gave us lots of information about the various cities around the bay area while we narrowed down our search. One thing I can say about our experience with Wendy is that she is ALWAYS available and replies to emails any time, week days, weekends, evenings - anytime. Once we found the home we wanted she immediately got all the paperwork together and spent time with us going through the information all the way through to the close of escrow. Wendy is a fantastic realtor who will help you find your dream home and will then do everything possible to make sure you get the house with her efficiency and professionalism. 8/1/2016Wendy went out of her way to accommodate us in buying our new home.  First of all, we weren't looking for a new home.  We were about to give up getting building permits for our first home when a house we could possibly afford and just loved suddenly appeared to me while I was searching online.  The only problem was that we thought we would need to quickly sell our current home to afford the down payment and loan on the new home.  We were not prepared to buy a home but needed to act fast!  Wendy got our house up for sale and quickly got several offers that were above market price.  Meanwhile, we got the idea to keep both houses and get a HELOC for the down payment on the 2nd house.  Wendy didn't complain about our change of plans and she had to comfort the sellers into waiting for us to get two separate loans to buy their house.  She calmly requested extensions and got them.  Other things happened- for instance - the appraisal came in lower than the selling price and Wendy was able to lower the sales price for us!  Well in the end, we own both houses and are very happy!  Wendy was so pleasant to work with!

10/19/2016My husband and I are retired and decide to live a house light and more active travel lifestyle.  We are selling our current duplex, jointly owned by my husband and his brother, and buy a smaller condo in the same area.  Wendy has helped us bought a beautiful condo in San Jose. When the condo surfaced to our attention, Wendy was getting ready to head out of town for the long weekend.  Within a few hours, Wendy prepared the information, showed us the condo, and worked with us vial email and text to help us make the offer promptly.  Wendy is very efficient, has good eyes in seeing value and always helpful in answering any questions we have.  Wendy is also helping us to sell the duplex.  It is not easy to handle selling a property owned by two families and Wendy has done an exceptional job in managing the sale process. Not only did Wendy find the home I love, but she demonstrated her skills in negotiation by accommodating my budget and securing my home at a great price, just over 10% below appraisal value.
