We closed on our house in Landis on Monday. I want you both to know what an extraordinar job our agent Lora Riddle did for us. She went way beyond the call to help us not only in showing us places, but also helping us get connected with some folks that we are going to use to make some minor modifications to our place (like adding a fence.) She was just an absolute delight to work with, and both my wife Shirley and I deeply appreciated her expertise and her incredibly friendly manner.

I apologize for it taking me so long to talk about Jenny Dabbs. I woke up this morning realizing it is almost Christmas and I bought my house in May. There has been alot to do and more to do but I love this house. It has become my home. Jenny was always so patient even when I was totally discouraged and didn’t believe I’d ever find anything. She helped me search for what I was needing and longing for- She remained calm in the face of a strong wind blowing in the opposite direction. Difficult time to succeed at buying a home. She was tolerant of being willing to look at many houses over the span of like a year and a half. Her kids sometime would wait patiently in her car while we looked and surmised possibilities-she never pushed me into feeling like I was being rushed or hurried. Even now as I was waking through the hall at work I heard another employee taking about the difficulty of finding snd purchasing a house right now- and I thought back to how difficult it was. I am so glad I’m not in that situation anymore. Through prayer and persistent searching I know God was at the lead. But Jenny was really the key to my success. Even at the end I knew nothing about that something was wrong with the paperwork but Jenny had faith. And maybe too she has learned to just go with things hoping for and knowing that things will work out - she is a pro at this. The home came together in the end. And I wanted to say Jenny had a good sense of what I wanted. Because this house needed some work but it’s in the right neighborhood and the size is right . Even though it’s not a new build. She helped me decide and the house is workable for me. I’m managing to recreate it over time. It’s endless possibilities are good for me. The friendly neighborhood and good walking neighborhood as well. Jenny is a very calm, knowledgeable, realistic and forgiving soul working there through Allen Tate. I’m sure you all appreciate her strength and abilities. I just wanted to add my comments and apology for taking so long to comment- And thank you to Jenny and you guys again. Love my home!! Margaret Dabbs is truly one of the best real estate agents I have had the opportunity to work with. She knows the Concord area market well, which gives her an advantage compared to other realtors who are not from this area. She also knows other professionals in the area who are able to help with various aspects of purchasing a home. She and her team are able to move the process forward very quickly from the showing all the way to closing. She provided excellent advice on making an offer, lining up inspections, navigating the inspection report and all the steps needed to get to the closing table. Lora was our agent, and as soon as we had viewed a few properties with her, there was a point where she could have encouraged us to buy every house we looked at, but instead she professionally delivered her candor about each home, and specific things that she noticed, which really opened our eyes about each house. Not at any point did I feel like she was looking for a fast transaction, but rather that she was actually helping us find the home that would be perfect for us.
