I want to thank Sherry O'Hagan for looking out for my best interests. I have been a client of hers for many years while I was investing in real estate. Sherry called and told me that the government had lowered the capital gain tax for 2020 and said it would be a good time to sell those properties that I had paid off since I would owe a good deal to the government. It took awhile to convince me but I decided to try it and then I was afraid it wouldn't sell within the year and that's when I was helped by Betty Barnes in your Granite Run office. I guess it was just luck when an agent asked Betty if she knew of any townhouses for sale and Betty remembered that Sherry (her mother in law) had just mentioned 2 properties in her neighborhood were going up for sale. I thank my lucky stars that they both thought of me at the exact right time and both sales went thru 12/29/2020. I don't know if the capital gain tax will go up or not but I am really happy with Sherry and Betty for making it happen in 2020 for me!
