Sharon Helsby at Fannie Hillman was our realtor on two occasions: once when we sold our home of 20 years in downtown Winter Park, and again when we sold our Condo in Park West. Both times she was very helpful in finding the right listing price and helping us negotiate the intricacies of finding a buyer. Seven years ago, she got us a selling price that was more than we expected, and this time, she was able to get us closed before all business activity ceased because of the Corona virus. She is very knowledgeable, has many contacts and was always available when we needed information or assistance. She was particularly helpful when we moved to Indiana last month and had to conduct much of the business by phone. Sharon would look after the electricians who were fixing issues identified by the inspection or helped the cleaning crew get into the condo when it turned out that they had the wrong key. (We were driving north on I 75 near the Georgia line when that happened.) She also checked our mailbox periodically since we had some issues with forwarding. Sharon is very friendly and unflappable. She answers phone calls, texts and emails promptly and uses some advanced technology when obtaining signatures from out of town. Hopefully, we won’t sell any more houses, but if we did, we would miss Sharon’s expertise and energy since we no longer live in Winter Park.
