Impeccable. Samantha is pure comfort, and that is exactly what we look for when we are either buying or selling a home: a stress-free chapter in our life. That is exactly what Samantha gave me. If that is all you read from this review, then so be it. Just know this: she is a guru in her field.
But if you want to know the reason why, and the backstory behind why I feel this way, then let me tell you.
I am currently stationed in Mayport, Florida. My house was in California. I am active duty, and because of my job, I am in and out of cell phone range. When I first spoke to Samantha, she let me speak. She asked what I wanted and what I needed. She listened.
I am a planner. I have been doing this job for over 24 years, so planning is something that is ingrained in me. Like the old saying goes, “Fail to plan, plan to fail.” Samantha heard all of my wants and needs, from the time frame I had in mind to the selling price I wanted. She told me, “We can achieve that.”
As adults, I know we are all SMEs in our own occupations, and I know most of us do not like when an outsider comes in and tries to tell us how to do something we have been doing for years. I kept that in mind, and I let Samantha run the whole selling process.
She worked with my property manager to make sure my current tenants were able to find new housing. When they said they needed an extra month, she was okay with it. Samantha said we needed upgrades, and I said okay. She went out, found competing bidders, sent me the numbers, and let me decide which one I wanted to go with. From there, we moved forward.With the painters, floor company and cleaning company every occupation had different bids and every time she always made sure who I wanted.
With every change, she asked questions about what I wanted. My response was always, “You decide. I trust you.” She worked around my busy schedule, and mind you, there was a three-hour time difference. She would wake up early, and she would call late from California, just to keep me up to date.
She even woke up at 4:00 AM her time so she could be ready in case I had any questions during the signing process. When the title company sent over a notary, Samantha did not have to be there by any means. The notary was very knowledgeable about the documents I had to sign. But Samantha wanted to be there for peace of mind, just in case I had any questions.
That is the kind of person she is. She will go above and beyond what you ask of her. She will walk you through every process and every step. And if you have any questions, day or night, she is available to answer them.
