Thanks Reece and Campbell. We quickly found "Our home for the next 10 years" in a quickly moving market. They quickly positioned themselves as our Real estate advisors, gently entering into the Auction process for our existing home, and were well positioned to swiftly move forward to reviewing our target locations and viewing homes. They absorbed our written criteria , understood who we are, and were able to get us immersed in the market with visits to a range of possibilities at or around our specification. We enjoyed a good relationship with highly communicative and open minded energetic specialists, and quite soon were looking at our new home. Lets remember that we did not meet our specification in many respects but did find a sensible compromise which is proving to be what we did not know we wanted. Not quite the conventional retirement masterpiece, but one that we can stamp our personality and needs onto. To be fair it was a challenging brief in our eyes. To put cream on the cake, what we found very helpful was the "after market service" of access to a range of quality services needed to help us make our purchased house into a home. To this day, we get follow up calls to make sure we are OK here. No wonder other international jurisdictions mandate this approach. It was expensive to buy this service , but good value in a rising market.... Imagine the implications of not finding a new home for 6 months.
