My experience with Rachel has been nothing short of amazing. This was my first home buying experience and it went as one would expect for a newbie. The beginning had so many challenges because I struggled to keep up with all of the information I got from my lender which Rachel would then translate for me (it truly felt like I was learning a new language). Rachel helped me understand the importance of soaking in the information I received and always made sure I knew what was going on every single step of the way. If there were any questions that I couldn't answer, Rachel would help me understand where I can source the answer (she's even sourced answers for both of us!). Rachel was so patient and reassured me that it was ok for not knowing everything up front and commending me for having the courage to buy a home, as the home buying process is not for the faint of heart.
Throughout the home buying process I've learned so much about who Rachel is as a person and realtor, which I now believe is what made us a successful team. Rachel is one of the most curious people I've ever met. She's asked so many thoughtful questions about my upbringing, work, family, where I've lived, even what my favorite snacks are! She's also shared with me that she is the youngest of her siblings and was very studious (totally explains why she's so smart). She's since grown to be more active, contributing to wonderful causes such as Shelter's Right Hand which is a non-profit secondhand thrift store associated with the Women's and Children's Crisis Shelter, actively participating in community events and supporting all of her local businesses. Rachel's curiosity and intellect, combined with her moxie makes for the perfect realtor. I felt confident and secure every step of the way and it was all because of Rachel's expertise made up of all the best qualities in a person.
The home buying process was a difficult one, but I'm truly grateful for the challenges because it really exposes the volatility that comes with searching for the perfect home. Homebuying was quite a journey for me, made all the more pleasant having Rachel by my side and always having my back. A couple of house tours and offers later, I managed to score the home I live in now and truly love every single square inch that I now get to call my own. My journey started mid February 2025 and finished in May 2025. I'm currently fixing my new place up and can't wait to make some of the renovations I shared with Rachel because she's going to be guest #1.
For any potential home buyers looking for an amazing, trustworthy realtor, I really hope you all have a chance to read this and know this doesn't even cover half of what I wish I could jot down in words. Just know if you do work with Rachel, you'll start with a realtor and will likely complete your journey with an amazing friend.
Rachel - thank you so much, my mom couldn't be more proud of her kid. =)
