Rachael grew up in Arlington, Texas, dreaming about one day living in the big city of Dallas. As a kid, it was so close, yet so far out of reach! She gained an early appreciation of architecture from her father. Together they would drive through neighborhoods in Dallas, pointing out their favorite houses, and explaining why.   After receiving her Master's degree in Mass Communication from the University of South Alabama, where she attended on a soccer scholarship, Rachael moved back to Dallas. She started as an Account Coordinator at a digital advertising agency, where she learned many skills transferable to her career in real estate. Mainly, the masterful balance of keeping a project within scope, while still managing to go above and beyond for the client.    Before starting with Dave Perry Miller, Rachael worked for three years in the real estate industry as a licensed apartment locator. In this time, she was able to fine tune her organizational skills, pick up negotiating tactics, and learn the market to a T.
