Peggy Love was excellent at her job from the start. It was decided we would put our home on the market for sale in September 2026. When we revised our decision to sell in June 2026, we were impressed with Peggy switching gears with us, putting together paperwork for the possible buyers, making sure all the information about the home was available, having the home staged and photographed, purchasing outdoor pots of planted flowers outdoors at the entry to the home for the open house, advertising the open house for our neighbors, and included the home on MLS in record time. Whenever we had a question or concern, Peggy was always available. We were impressed with her ability to listen carefully and respond with care and kindness.
I usually don’t write testimonials or reviews, but I am making an exception for an exceptional real estate agent. Peggy Love is an outstanding real estate agent who I would recommend to anyone, but in particular to those of us who are 55+. I moved back to Maryland last fall after being away for 3 years. This past spring I decided it was time to start looking for a home, where I could settle into for retirement. I saw Peggy’s ad in the Heritage Harbor monthly newsletter and what struck me was that one of her specialties is finding homes for 55 and older folks. When I met Peggy at her office, I was immediately impressed by not only her professionalism, knowledge of real estate, and the current market, but also by her genuine and sincere approach to understanding what I was looking for in a home and the potential area I wanted to live in. During my home search, Peggy was always reassuring that we would find the right home for me and listened intently to what I liked and disliked about the homes we saw. When I did find a home I really liked, it was not in a 55+ community and was very different than what I originally thought I wanted. As I went through my decision making process, Peggy took the time to sit with me and discuss what I liked about a 55+ community and what I liked about the home and the neighborhood that was different from anything I thought about in the past. She truly listened to me and at the end of our conversation, she said it was obvious where I wanted to be and she was right. I bought the home I loved in an area I loved and never looked back at a 55+ community. Finally, Peggy has the patience of a saint. She always answered by questions and concerns about the entire home search/buying process. I hadn’t bought a home in over 35 years, and I had never bought a resale as my other homes were new builds. It was also the first time I had bought a home on my own without having a spouse to discuss it with. Peggy made the whole process stress free with her real estate knowledge and the genuine care she has for her clients. Peggy is the best!
Working with Peggy was wonderful! She is friendly and really understood our needs. What was such a pleasant surprise was when we decided not to purchase land due to high interest rates and lack of flexible terms on land loans she was very understanding and supportive of our decision and called the next day just to check on us. I can't say enough about Peggy and look forward to working with her again very soon.
Agent Peggy Love was a joy to work with. We appreciated her professionalism, honesty, knowledge, availability and personal attention. Peggy made our overwhelming moving process tolerable and manageable. We really really appreciated having Peggy as our Real Estate Agent.
Because of our agent going out of her way to locate and oversee most of home updating process. In the end our home update including painting and staging was done so well and professionally we “almost” wanted to stay. Just like the show “Love it or List it”; we loved it! Thank you Peggy and thank you Long & Foster.
