As first time home buyers we really needed assistance on buying a home, as we soon discovered it can be overwhelming for individuals who are inexperienced in purchasing a home. That's when I made a phone call to Long and Foster Realtors. We were assigned agent Mrs. Pearline Trencher to represent us as homebuyers.
Though it was a difficult time in the real estate market due to the COVID pandemic, especially for buyers, Mrs. Rencher, or "Ruth" as we called her, made the experience for us with minimal stress. She was so patient with us to find our ideal home. Of course, we had to look at several houses so she could understand our preferences, but finally, after several months she found our dream home.
Additionally I wanted to add that my father was a major participant in looking at houses with us because of his own prior experience in real estate. Ruth was very sensitive and respectable, not only to my father's contributions as an advisor in the buying process, but to me and my significant other. She maintained a sense of neutrality in these circumstances and gave only her professional input while remaining careful to not overstep any boundaries in our different opinions about all of the respective properties we viewed together. Basically, she was our guide, sounding board and confidant, and left the final deciding between us to determine what we thought would be the best fit for us. I'd also like to add that Ruth was very professional, cordial, friendly and made the overall process a joy, from our initial conversations to the the thoughtful housewarming gift she presented us preceding our closing meeting. I think it would be safe to say that all of us who delt with Ruth that we would highly recommend her as a real estate agent for individuals planning to buy a house, regardless of it is their first time or third time.
