Nancy Oberlies was our realtor for 4 transactions, and in every case, we knew that we had the BEST realtor. We have moved out of NC and unfortunately for us, Nancy cannot help us with the purchase of our next residence. Because now, every realtor that we meet has been compared to Nancy. And if we took all of their best real estate qualities, they still do not have what Nancy has. From the beginning, we felt that we were her priority in purchasing or selling our homes. We immediately trusted her. She exudes confidence in her job, she knows the real estate market and the area. She provided sound reasoning and clear explanations to our questions. Her service continued beyond the closing. She respond to phone calls, texts and emails quickly. AND…she listens! We’ve learned over time (and many real estate transactions)…Do NOT select a realtor based on their big signs, or the size of the group of realtors working with them, or their expensive advertising. Do NOT select a realtor because they are new to the business and you think they may be hungry to do a good job. SELECT one that has experience and knowledgeable of the real estate business, laws and things that will affect your property value, now and in the future. SELECT one that is not overwhelmed by the day to day business of utilizing other staff to do their real estate business. SELECT one who knows the local area and who is well respected by other realtors, inside and outside of other brokers’ offices. Nancy has been representing buyers and sellers in the area for almost 20 years, and it is obvious that she enjoys what she does. This may sound like a campaign slogan, but the truth is…buying and selling real estate is one of the most expensive things that a person will do. It is also one of the most stressful. Why take a chance with just any realtor. Nancy should be your realtor of choice. We were very fortunate to have found Nancy!

The Oberlies team were wonderful to work with on both the selling and buying side of things. They were not pushy or overbearing. They simply presented us with the comps and the facts of the market condition and gave us advice based on experience but also listened to our concerns. The Oberlies were recommended to us and we would highly recommend them to others.

Nancy Oberlies was our buyer’s agent in two home purchases and as seller’s agent in the sale of one home. She helped us price and sell a home for us in a month in a slow market. She is always responsive to concerns and has been very helpful finding the right homes for us as well as negotiating the contracts buying and selling our homes. Her communication skills are strong and combined with her knowledge of the area-wide real estate market, she is a great agent to work. My wife and I highly recommend working with Nancy as your real estate agent. Results driven, we would be happy to work with her again.

I loved working with Nancy. She was there every step of the way, and was very professional. I will miss meeting with her.

My wife and I cannot praise Nancy over losing enough. She was always responsive and insightful with her work with us. She showed us a lot of properties in a dwindling market.. She understood our desires fully and helped us find the successful purchase in the neighborhood we desired. Nancy‘s ability to navigate contract and explain agreements to us was greatly appreciated. This is the 15th home I have purchased and unfortunately the real estate contracts become more complex and encompassing of aspects of real estate purchasing as time goes by.

We have been clients of Nancy Oberlies purchasing two residential properties in the Asheville area with her assistance. She is great to work with and gets needed information on properties and neighborhoods essential to your decision making in real estate. Her knowledge, experience and attention to detail helps make negotiating and working to agreements with confidence. I highly recommend her as a professional agent you should consider for your real estate needs.

This is our second experience with Nancy Oberlies. She is very knowledgeable, responsive, and professional. We would not hesitate to use her again.

Nancy Oberlies is a real pro and a pleasure to work with! Love her and recommend her to everyone!

Attentive to every detail and prompt responses.

We have worked with many realtors when buying and selling homes but we have never met a realtor who is as proficient, diligent and considerate as Nancy Oberlies. She is a professional business woman who places her customers first. Nancy has a broad knowledge base which she shares with her customers, asks questions on behalf of her customers and makes her customers aware of concerns. Her communications are outstanding. And when you talk to other realtors, contractors, bankers, lawyers, etc, Nancy is well-known and well respected. We have worked with Nancy on our last three real estate transactions and every time we have become more appreciative of her abilities. If you think you can sell or buy real estate without a professional, you have never worked with someone like Nancy Oberlies, who will make your real estate transactions easier.
