Prior to the pandemic, I attended about 30 "open houses" over the course of a year - just looking. All of the agents were friendly and knowledgeable, but it was Molly Ramey Ratchford who made the biggest impression on me. Within minutes of talking, she understood what I was looking for and diplomatically offered several insightful suggestions that I hadn't considered. Ultimately, I chose not to purchase at that time, but fortunately I kept her card. Fast forward 18 mos and circumstances changed. We met at her office, and again she had a full grasp of what I wanted . . . and gently made suggestions of what would be the best options. Within two weeks, she negotiated a deal for a great house in a VERY HOT market. "It checks all the boxes", she said. Spot on! Then, she made sure everything was done correctly to close-on the house in within 4 weeks - and all with a soft touch, no panic, no push (at least towards me.) I couldn't be more pleased.
