Lissette Penate was an absolute pleasure to work with- transparent, quick to communicate, and really friendly and helpful!  She was forthcoming about the positives and the negatives of the apartment we looked at and super approachable and understanding of our questions and reservations while we were making decisions.  I was living out of town while my roommates were looking at apartments and she made me feel included and like an active memeber of the process depsite this.  I would recommend her to anyone looking for an honest and genuine professional. 

I'm not sure if I can even fit how WONDERFUL, simply wonderful, Lissette has been as a broker in this review without surpassing the character limitation! Looking back I suppose I chose Lisette to be my broker because not only did she respond to my inquiry right away but she was also confident and welcoming. I figured getting my first NYC apartment would be daunting to say the least, and don't get me wrong, it was, but Lissette was there to guide me through the whole equally fast-paced process from start to finish. Long story short, Lissette showed me a great variety of apartments but none that felt "right". Not once was she pushy and manipulative like a couple other brokers I met and stopped seeing for obvious reasons...

I honestly cannot rave about Lisette enough. This past apartment hunt was an absolute nightmare before her, she's the only thing that saved my sanity! With less than a week to find a place, she was so amazing at finding numerous options of exactly what I was looking for, respecting my budget, and going so far out of her way to make sure that my roommate and I found the perfect home. I absolutely love my apartment, and I absoulutely love Lissette. I'll honestly never call another broker in my life.

Lisette was absolutely wonderful! Trying to find and rent an apartment from 3,000 miles away is NOT an easy task. But Lisette took the challenge head on, and worked with me non-stop to make sure I was happy. She responded on nights and weekends to accommodate the time difference between us, and dealt with issues swiftly and successfully. She also truly cared about helping me find the best apartment, and you could tell she isn't just in this for the business, she's in it for the people! I would definietly recommend her to anyone looking for apartment!
