Though I live in Tamworth / Australia , recently I had an occasion to email Michele a she had sold in January, a house I used to live in as a child in 1954-1955. My father, Geoff Falkenmire, was a teacher here at Neutral Bay in NSW and had A Fulbright Scholorship to teach in the USA- Seattle & taught at Highland Park. For pure nostalgic reasons, I at times Google this house as my time here as a child with my family had been very happy . I had some photos from this time - 67 years ago- of what it was like then, including one of 2 little girls and their father, planting the now rather enormous fir tree in the front yard. She not only responded to me in a positive way but also took the time to forward these to the new owners, who have in turn , contacted me- which I appreciated as I also have other photos of the house and the family who lived there. Also, from this time , I still had the ID bracelet that school aged children had to wear then as Cold War Era- I was 5. This now, with the owners permission, I have posted to them , as for me , this is where it belongs. So, maybe a simple act for her, but for me , she has acted beyond the sale of a house and enabled me to share with the new owners some history of their house and Seattle all that time ago.
