Melissa could not have been a better realtor for us! We are buyers from out of state and did not know much about the Charlotte area or surrounding cites, except for YouTube research and word of mouth from friends. On our tour, she showed us several properties and guided us through escrow like the pro she is, then continued to lend a helping hand once we went home. We are very appreciative of her help and expertise. We highly recommend Melissa to represent you in your next home purchase or sale. We are going to buy another property in the area and wouldn't use anyone else.

We had the pleasure of working with Melissa in November 2022, and her expertise and unwavering support made our home-buying journey genuinely remarkable. Despite some complexities in selling our previous house, Melissa's professionalism and calming demeanor shone through. We've found our dream home and gained an excellent realtor and friend that we still stay in contact with to this day. Highly recommend her services!

This was the second time we’ve worked with Melissa. On our first go around, Melissa was our buyer’s agent. We were moving from California. I was here in Charlotte and my wife was still in the Bay Area. It was tough “looking for a new house” when only one of us was here. Melissa persevered and helped us get our home in Davidson. Almost 7 years later it was time to SELL our Davidson house. We had already purchased our new home and were anxious to sell our Davidson home quickly. Melissa gave us a long list of things she recommended that we do before selling. She also hooked us up with a local handy man that was able to do many of the items on our punch list. It was a “tough love experience” – but it paid off. We sold our house in 5 days and walked away with an over asking price offer. We had 2 offers on the table and she was adept at steering us in the safest direction for a quick closing. It’s not easy getting your home ready to list but trusting the advice from an expert agent (like Melissa) will pay off in the end.

We have depended on Melissa for years, not only for her sound acumen and astute knowledge of the market down to the micro level, but for her awareness and attentiveness to the inner drivers, needs and aspirations that have become pivotal for my wife and I at various points on our journey together. It is this last quality that set Melissa apart, even after we had moved out of state down to the coast for a spell. Melissa cared enough to know precisely the setting and character of the home we sought, and her advice and perseverance were instrumental in finding the right property and effecting a life-changing move that not only checked all of our boxes, but filled both of our hearts. While many claim attention to the details, I have never known anyone as thorough when it comes to level-headed advice, helping us to set and maintain priorities, and providing effective counsel on all the minutiae that go into making a real estate transaction a success. It is the difference that, for us, made such an event not merely less stressful, but pleasurable -- a process the end result of which was delight. I can say without reservation that this home, this move, would never have happened for us without Melissa’s supportive and always cheerful encouragement and caring guidance. That is no small recommendation, and it is what we now think of whenever we recall with fondness Melissa saying at every juncture that she is “here to serve.”

We recently had the pleasure of working with Melissa to purchase a home in Davidson. From start to finish, it was an absolute pleasure! From our initial conversations and throughout the whole process, Melissa was professional and highly knowledgeable about the local market and made sure we always felt like a priority. There was a specific “look” we have always dreamed of owning. One that resembled a lodge in the NC mountains. Tall order, I know, but it was on our wish list not our must have list. After looking for a week or so, I received an email from Melissa which had a mls attachment. There IT was! THE house. While not sure we could get it, we were a little hesitant about making an offer since there were other offers on the table. Melissa said, “Can’t get it if you don’t ask”. So we asked, and we got it. We could not be happier after getting a true dream home. That word is used a lot, but we truly dreamed about this house for many years. Melissa’s negotiation skills were first-rate. She also went out of her way to ensure every detail was taken care of – from arranging inspections to researching potential issues with a property. Throughout our journey, Melissa demonstrated immense patience and understanding of our situation. Whether we needed additional time for research or required more information on a particular property, she took it all in stride. She went out of her way to provide us with extra resources and various options we could consider when deciding. We loved working with Melissa and wouldn’t chose anyone else.

Melissa, You are a rock star! Thanks for everything! -- Chris

Melissa is an awesome realtor! She kept me calm and patient throughout the entire process as I am a first time home buyer. I am very grateful for her work ethic as she was very efficient and was always available every step until closing. She always worked hard and fought to get me my dream home.

I definitely enjoyed working with Melissa! I love working with agents who have the attitude that we can work anything out and have the same goal to get to the closing. I hope that we can work together again! -Juliana Labarbera
