My Mother's house sale was somewhat complicated (moving Mom out of a house she had been in for 60+ years, coordinating the massive clean out, and then a remote contract signing for closing). Maryann came to us via a recommendation from friends - I had no real estate contacts in Michigan (I am out of state) and was wary of the hundreds (yes, hundreds) of solicitation letters my Mother had received over the past year. In our first meeting, my 88 year old Mother took to Maryann immediately. She was very professional, yet warm and friendly. Her demeanor was very calm, she was not hurried, she spoke slowly and clearly to my Mother. There was no pressure and she did not leave until my Mother's questions were all answered (she had a lot of questions). Things went slowly from our side (my Mom had A LOT of stuff)!, and Maryann was extremely patient with us. When we were ready - Maryann turned into a machine! She worked quickly, efficiently, and kept us in the loop at every single step. She handled the small setbacks calmly, and expertly layed out options for resolutions. She gave excellent advice and guidance - and we were comforted knowing she was on our side. Having Maryann handle the house sale alleviated A TON of stress for all of us!
