My fiance and I were first time home buyers. We initially connected with Mallory at a local coffee shop where she walked us through, step-by-step, exactly what we needed to do to buy a home in Seattle. She covered every minute detail, answered every silly question, and helped us build confidence in ourselves that were were truly ready for this next step in our lives. Mallory made what was a very daunting and scary process, clear and doable for us (no easy task). The three of us spent the next few weeks visiting homes and studying comparable houses online so that my fiance and I could understand pricing and ensure we were going to make a responsible decision. Then, Mallory introduced us to our dream home. She knew it might be the one and connected with the listing agent before even showing us. Mallory was an amazing guide and advocate for us as first time home buyers. What we wanted was very specific; property above 5000 sq ft to build a DADU for our aging parents all within Seattle proper, in the 2020 COVID market. With all this in mind, she educated us to make sure we had the proper expectation and connected us with DADU experts in the Seattle area. If she didn’t know, she took the time to find out and/or connect us to people who could help. All in all, she was the perfect guide. When we went to put in our offer, she and her teammate Sue Rockwell, did everything in their power to ensure we were the winning bid. It was a firework and fire kind of day, but not once did we feel under prepared or out of our league. We enjoyed her company and guidance. If we ever are in the market, we would go back to her :).
