No surprises, which is what we expected. Everything went smoothly, and there were no negatives. Lou knows a lot about selling empty lots, and what needs to happen before a sale can be completed. He came out and made recommendations about how to get the lot ready, and kept track of potential buyers.

The las few years have been really tough for buyers to purchase home at the Sammamish area. In 2021, we finally made it by working with Lou Bergman. As his careers tell, he knows every corner in the area of Sammamish, Issaquah, Bellevue and Redmond, which were my interesting area. His response cannot be much quicker in sending the list, contacting the sellers’ agent, making an appointment, putting together contract, negotiating with agent, and sharing the results. I always felt I were his only and first customer. The market analysis provided by Windermere, his real estate company, was quite helpful for preparing the offer with the right price. He was also very knowledgeable for various options in the contract and finance programs to be more competitive buyer. When we got frustrated with losing several offer battles (this is typical in this area), thanks to his kind words and advice based on his long career, we did not lose our patience and could go back to the battle again. What I was really happy with working with him was that he wanted us to have the right (neither too much nor too little) and concern-free house although it takes time. You might hear “NO” from him that the house is not appropriate for you (I got two NOs from him, LOL). Wish all the people that will work with Lou Bergman best of luck in finding your right home.
