Where do I begin. I guess at the beginning. Hehe, we met Lori on an open house by accident caused by our young curiosity. She spoke about Peekskill with a passion we also shared, and the rest was history. My wife and I were new to the market and knew zero about buying a house. Besides the fact that we needed money everything else was new. Lori gave us a list of financial house keeping that we would need to give some attention to; savings, cleaning up our credit, keeping steady jobs etc. She was patient and happy to help. I met Lori 13 months ago when I began my search. My original intention was to buy land and build a house. I was about to make an offer on a parcel when COVID reached the U.S. and I had to make the decision to either wait it out or switch gears and buy an existing house. I chose the latter. Lori was game every step of the way and extraordinarily patient and flexible. We wound up looking for my perfect home in five (5) different counties! Lori truly went above and beyond and happily shuttled me around (I lived in Brooklyn at the time and did not have a car). She is that rare combination of expertise and compassion and is in this field to make people happy. Her local knowledge of the Hudson Valley was incredibly helpful. When all was said and done, we had looked at approximately 30 houses and had four (4) failed offers before finding the perfect home for me. I couldnt have done it without her and am grateful to have made a friend in this crazy process!
