Lexie made the home buying experience a breeze! As a first time homebuyer I was incredibly nervous and stressed to even begin the process, but Lexie broke it down very simply for us each step of the way. She helped us determine a timeline of when to start looking and checked on us leading up to that point to make sure we were all on the same page. Once we began looking she was thoughtful in scheduling the viewings to maximize time. Even when she was going to be out of town she was reachable and set us up with other realtors so that we didn’t miss a beat in our search. After we put in an offer and it was accepted, she helped us with finding an inspector, worked with the seller to finalize things, and kept us in the loop the whole time. As I've learned over the past months, buying a house is stressful. To add to the stress for our particular situation; it was our first home, the competition at our price point was extremely intense, and we only had an eight week window until we had to be out of our apartment. Needless to say, we were a little on edge. Cue Lexie Crowson. Within the first few minutes of meeting Lexie on our first day of showings, it was obvious that Lexie knew what she was doing. She took the time to understand our needs and goals and began to narrow in on exactly what we were looking for. By the end of the first week, we were already getting ready to put in offers. There were moments where it would have been easy to become discouraged with the process. Homeowners accepting other offers, unresponsive seller's agents, houses that were time capsules, etc. But, Lexie navigated us through the uncertainty and answered all of our questions promptly and thoroughly. If anything, I was glad I was able to keep up with her pace through the whole ordeal. Ultimately, we were able to find a new home. Amazingly, things continued to get better and better from there. Even when Lexie had to go out of town (she made us aware of that fact WELL in advance) she took the time to line up Julia to step in and rock and roll in her absence. Through inspections, appraisal, coordinating with our lender, and closing there was never a moment we felt left in the dark. We were prepared for everything because of the experience of Lexie and the Atlanta Communities team.
