Joining the Michael Saunders team was a natural step for Kristina after nine years of experience in the luxury retail sector at a local Mercedes-Benz dealership, where she offered unparalleled customer service. She understands and easily connects with customers of discriminating taste, and she excels in listening to identify her customers’ needs to achieve the desired goals. Prior to Kristina’s management role, she was a teacher and staff developer. Her education background lends itself to the real estate business, as she is adept at guiding customers step-by-step through the home buying and selling process. She also understands how to individualize her interactions to the needs and personality of each customer. Before moving to Sarasota in 2005, Kristina lived and taught in the greater Washington DC/Baltimore area. While she misses her friends and family (and of course the Maryland steamed crabs) she has always been a Florida gal at heart. She moved here for the sunshine, beaches, blue skies, warm weather and everything else Sarasota. Kristina’s love for Sarasota and its surrounding areas is contagious. She has often felt the need to say to friends and family, “No, I don’t work for the Chamber of Commerce,” as she extols the virtues of the area. On any given day you may find her at the beach, riding her bike across the Ringling Bridge, eating at one of her many favorite restaurants or enjoying art at a new gallery exhibit. She also has a heart for serving the community, and has been actively involved as a mentor with Big Brothers and Big Sisters of the Suncoast since 2006.
