As a native Texan and an almost life-long resident of Lake Highlands, Kristen Harris has a deep-rooted and personal connection to the community and the people who call it home. In fact, it’s a generational thing as her own family lives, plays and attends school in the same close-knit neighborhood where she grew up. On a broader professional level, Kristen is just as invested in her hometown, having gained a perspective on Dallas that few people ever do. Because she began her career at the Dallas Convention and Visitors Bureau, in time she became an expert regarding what makes Dallas the vibrant, cosmopolitan and livable city that it is. From there she spent over 20 years in hotel convention sales at some of the finest hotels in the city. It was during this chapter of her life that Kristen honed her attention to detail, as well as her relationship/negotiation/customer service skills. A passion for real estate coupled with this extensive sales and marketing background virtually guarantees clients will enjoy a personal and exceptional residential real estate experience.    Kristen and her husband, Steve, have two active teenage sons and live in a “house divided” – she’s an ardent Aggie, he’s a loyal Longhorn. She’s very involved in her community serving on the Executive Board of both the Lake Highlands Women’s League and Lake Highlands Area Band Club. When she’s not helping her clients with their real estate needs, she enjoys running, summer vacations in Colorado and cheering on her sons in their musical and sports endeavors.

Kristen did an amazing job selling our rental property. She researched and suggested a target sale price and timing for listing the house. She came by several times ahead of putting the property up for sale to make suggestions on improvements, prioritizing a detailed list of changes with the highest ROI. She arranged for staging and photography. Her communication was excellent throughout the process. We got an offer that was slightly over the list price the first weekend that the house was for sale. We closed 29 days after the house was listed. Kristen saved us money with her negotiating skills and got us top dollar for the house. If we need to buy or sell another home, Kristen will be our first call.
