An 8th generation Floridian, Kirt has over 30 years of hands-on experience in construction and real estate. Through his development companies, he has completed over 300 projects in his career, and personally closed on over 130 transactions. A resident of Placida, Kirt loves the abundance of nature and wildlife, and specializes in residential sales in Placida, Cape Haze, and the Gasparilla Islands. Kirt is known as a “go-getter” and employs a strong work ethic while believing the key to a successful real estate experience is to provide exceptional customer service.<br><br>Kirt brings a very multi-faceted background to real estate with experience as a Realtor®, developer, photographer, graphic artist and illustrator. He has a creative eye when approaching any challenge and sees things most Realtors® miss. As a sales agent, he has worked with Sotheby’s, Keller Williams, and Florida Realty Investments. As a developer, Kirt was CEO of Huggins Development/Nexhomes, Inc., Moda Corporation, and Town and Country Development, Inc, completing hundreds of projects throughout central Florida. His knowledge of construction and development finance, along with real estate as a whole, gives him a strong foundation for navigating the market on behalf of his buyers and sellers.<br><br>Kirt has a degree in Photography, Graphic Arts and Illustration from Daytona College and specializes in digital photography, 3D virtual reality video, low level aerial drone video, and HR photography. He’s also well-versed in social media platforms and digital media, marketing properties in innovative ways while leveraging his networks and relationships. <br><br>In his spare time, Kirt enjoys boating, fishing, cooking, architecture and interior design. He is very close to his family, many of whom are based in Orlando, and has two grown children, one a graduate of University of Central Florida, the other, a UCF student. <br>
