Introducing Kimille Abbey I was born and raised in Minnetonka, Minnesota until the age of 10. I grew up on a lake so I had the best of both worlds as a child...water skiing, boating and swimming in the summer and ice skating, sledding and snowmobiling in the winter. My parents decided they were tired of the cold and moved the family to Naples, Florida. As I remember saying to my parents this is quite a change going from blizzards to beaches. As it was time to decide on college I wanted to head to the beautiful mountains of North Carolina where I attended Western Carolina University. I received a degree in communication disorders which is just fancy words for a speech pathologist. After getting my bachelor's degree I wanted to continue on and get my masters degree in audiology at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville. I found it so rewarding to help people hear. So I am continuing that passion for helping others in real estate. You will always see HGTV on at our house! My husband and I have bought and sold several fixer upper homes, some that we lived in while renovating and others we renovated which are now rental homes. So I am very familiar with the process. I was lucky to meet my amazing husband in college and move to Charlotte in 1994 where we have been raising our four daughters. Our older daughter graduated from Clemson and is working and living in Boston. Our second daughter is in college at Clemson University...Go Tigers! Our middle daughter is a senior at Ardrey Kell High School and our youngest daughter is a freshman at Ardrey Kell High School. As my husband says to me if you can raise 4 daughters you can do anything! As a mother and real estate agent I understand the need for patience, trust, honesty, confidentiality, loyalty, care, obedience and making the selling and buying experience fun. When not working I enjoy spending quality time with my family and friends in the mountains on the new river, at the beach, watching the Carolina Panthers and Clemson Tigers. I have been an avid tennis player since high school and college. I have been lucky enough to still be able to play in my wonderful neighborhood in Providence Country Club for the last 18 years. As we say at Allen Tate... we are home. I have found that in my neighborhood and would love to help you find that home too. I will always have your best interest at heart and look forward to working with you!

My brother and I needed to list our parent's home. My mom had smoked inside for 40 years. We needed a Realtor that could not only help us sell the property but also get it ready to list. It needed a full makeover without breaking the bank. Kimille went above and beyond any expectations I had of a Realtor. She basically was our GC as well.. hiring everyone from getting rid of all the smoked damaged furniture to cleaning the duct work. She got us at least 6 different contractors to do what we needed on a strict budget. Not only did the contractors she recommended do top notch work, they were all very reasonable with their quotes. Every inch of the 3000 sqft home had to be addressed due to the cigarette smoke damage. My brother and I never thought selling this home would be so easy. We ended up having multiple offers the first weekend it listed. It SOLD for full listing price which was over appraised value!! If you're looking to sell your home, I highly recommend Kimille. Hands down, the best Realtor I have ever worked with. Not only is she a hard worker but a very sweet, personable lady who I consider to be a friend now.
We had a great experience working with with Kimille as our realtor. She provided excellent service every step of the way. Always professional, knowledgeable, and attentive to our needs. We had some issues with our mortgage company along the way but her dedication made the process a lot less stressful for us. I would highly recommend Kimille to anyone looking to buy or sell a home!
