1. Scott has his clients' best interest in mind. Throughout the whole process, I felt valued, heard, and respected; Scott listened to my goals from day 1 and sought to help me meet those goals. He discussed my finances with me and helped me crunch numbers to find a homebuying plan that fit my needs. When we began seeing homes, it was clear to me at each that Scott was looking out for my best interest rather than looking for a quick sale. In a couple cases, we saw a home that I thought could be an okay fit for me, but Scott's experienced eye picked up on things that were amiss and likely saved me from buying a lemon.
2. Scott's experience buying and renovating homes is a huge asset to his clients. Working with Scott was sort of like having insurance against post-purchase surprises; he helped me to find defects in the home I was purchasing, and then negotiated aggressively but fairly to ensure I didn't bear the financial burden of those issues. In the end, I paid $15,000 less than asking due to Scott's acumen and expertise. 3. Scott's patience was like none other. I practically bombarded him with questions and texts--being a first time home buyer, I wanted to ensure I was crossing all of my T's. Scott assuaged my concerns, was available at odd hours, and worked hard to help me feel at peace. He did so at every step of the process--from our initial meeting to closing.
In short, I'm thankful I got to work with Scott. He is impeccably professional, experienced, knowledgeable, and has a heart that seeks to serve his clients first.
