I'm writing on behalf of my parents, as Kayla worked with all of us in the sale of my parents' home and the purchase of another home. Kayla was amazing. She explained things to us in a way we could understand, making sure that my father, who has some dementia, was included as appropriate. She showed us how to "stage the house" they were selling, and it was sold in just a few days. Kayla was patient with us as we tried to find the perfect "next house" for our parents. Several family members had a part in these transactions and she communicated with all of us very well. She was always available when we wanted to look at a house and we never had to wait very long to do that. Kayla gave us valuable information and advice (some of which we resisted at first, but turned out to be exactly what we needed to do). After they chose their new home, Kayla advocated for my parents in regard to who would pay to replace the roof (they were able to split that with the seller) and in other details associated with the sale. My parents needed to convert the bathtub to an accessible shower and Kayla recommended someone to do that work, and then volunteered to help them select a shower surround and the associated accessories in order to help them save money. This was on her own time, after she'd sold their house and after the sale of the next house was already decided. On moving day she brought us lunch. She was always respectful of my parents and their wishes and never showed frustration with any of the family members involved in the process. I would definitely recommend Kayla to family and friends who are interested in buying and/or selling a house! - Sherry Koenigsman
