John Kritsonis represented us in the sale our Newcastle house. Overall, I had an excellent experience and I'd recommend John to anyone looking for an agent. When we listed our house for sale, the market had shifted somewhat to a buyers' market from where it had been, and prices were falling. John helped us get our home prepped for sale and on the market quickly. Other agents were talking about "sweat equity" but my husband and I were very busy and not interested in spending a lot of time on the house; John helped us leverage his contacts to have some inexpensive work done on the house and yard that made it look great. I was very impressed with all the contractors he referred us to, including the cleaners, painters, stagers, etc. In addition, John communicated with and managed all these contractors for us. Everything went extremely smoothly with minimal effort from me. John also negotiated with an interested buyer and was able in the end to sell our house without even listing it at a price that exceeded my expectations, and that also exceeded what other agents, who had wanted us to spend more money than we did prepping the house for sale, had estimated we might expect. Basically, we got a great price with minimal effort. John does charge the full standard commission whereas some agents charge a bit less, but I believe in the end what we saved in time and money prepping the house for sale plus the high sale price made the higher commission more than worth it.
