Karen went above and beyond on so many occasions. Multiple times I was asking friends and family “is this something that a realtor actually does for you” on things that I thought I had to do on my own. I really feel that Karen took a great deal of the stress for me as well. This was my first experience selling and I had no idea what to do or how to do it. We were in the process of relocating from West Virginia to Cleveland. Relocating is definitely a stressful process. Susan was great during our few phone calls getting a sense of what we were looking for and the types of properties we were looking for. She was also excellent in terms of giving us information about the different cities around Cleveland. Given the layout of the area there are so many different flavors of living all within 30-40 minutes of downtown and she did a great job of breaking down the areas we thought we would like. We got off to a bumpy start, our first realtor could not keep up with all the clients he had at that point in time, but he did the right thing and let Susan know we would be better served with another realtor at that point in time. This we greatly appreciated since if your realtor is struggling to get you to the houses you will likely miss your opportunities in current market. From here Susan looked around her staff and set us up with Karen Paul. Karen is a saint and anyone should be ecstatic to work with her. She got us to TWELVE houses in 2 days and was prepared to show us more on the 3rd. We were not looking in an isolated area either. We were looking from Avon Lake to Chardon and as far south as Kent and Wadsworth, which would be a 2-3 hour round trip if we were looking at houses in all areas on a given day. She helped us develop a plan to segregate the different areas we were looking at so we could see as many houses as possible in as short a time as possible. We found and submitted an offer on our new house on the second day. Karen was great working as the liaison between us and the sellers and didn’t hesitate to give us a call as things changed and questions needed to be asked. The closing process after the offer was accepted was simple as could be and we experienced no issues from time the offer was accepted to closing. Karen was a joy to work with and she really took the time to understand us and the stresses of our situation during the relocation and that helped her learn how to best serve us. We extremely grateful to have worked with her and the Russel Real Estate team. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a home in the greater Cleveland area.

A friend of mine referred me to Karen Paul as I started the journey to buy my first house. From the moment we first spoke on the phone about starting to look at houses to the day I got the keys to my first house, Karen was kind, caring, patient and encouraging and she worked efficiently to get things done throughout the home buying process. Karen was friendly, knowledgeable, and professional every step of the way. Not to mention it was only 33 days from the first time I called her to discuss looking for my first home, to me getting the keys to MY house as a first time home owner! I do not know everything she did behind the scenes, but she worked quickly when things needed to get done and I know she fought for me to get a good deal on the house when the appraisal came in lower than expected. She also fought for closing to happen smoothly and on time.
