My experience with Karen Hawks was fantastic. I’ve worked with many different realtors in Richmond over the past 20 years. While I have been fortunate to have many good experiences with past purchases, I must say that Karen Hawks was far and away the best agent I have ever worked with. Karen helped me find my new home in 2016, and here are a few reasons why I think she is the best.
#1 – She Really Listens. Karen really listened to what my needs were and used that information to help me zero in on the right kind of house and neighborhood. While we looked at 8 – 10 houses, my favorite all along, and the one I wound up buying, was the first house that Karen picked out for me. Before I talked to Karen, I had done some internet shopping on my own and I was all over the place with what I wanted, and I was totally overwhelmed with the choices. Karen assessed my needs and then nailed it on the first try.
#2 – Customer Focus. I know Karen had many other customers during the time that she was helping me, however, she made me feel like I was her only customer. In addition, my experience with past agents is that they would always show homes near the top of my price range, and often try to stretch my range. Karen showed me a good variety and took a genuine interest in not selling me more house than I needed. In reality, the house I bought was $200,000 below the upper limit of my range. When I started shopping, I fully expected to have to spend near the top of my range, so Karen really helped me save.
#3 – Responsive. During the shopping process, Karen worked fast and was always very responsive to my questions and ideas. During the contract and close process, Karen monitored every detail to keep everything going smoothly and on time for what I had established as a tight and aggressive timeline. I am a frequent business traveler, and Karen did everything she possibly could to make the process easy and efficient for me.
