Our move from Baltimore, and the home purchase in Louisville, had some unique challenges. Due to previous planning my wife and I were on holiday in Europe for a crucial three week period in May, just prior to closing. Our lender was not local and perhaps not as clear as needed regarding the basement situation and inspection. And our closing in Baltimore was delayed due to computer issues in Baltimore during May/June.
