We lived in our 2900 sq. ft. house for 40 years. Joe did a analysis and the pluses and minuses and came up with a price and a plan to upgrade a little . He suggested staging and pre-inspections. The house was in the one million and a half range. He staged open house every weekend and kept me informed of progress. Joe Wilson helped me sell my house in the San Jose Willow Glen area in the fall of 2016. I was absolutely delighted with the service he provided; let me explain... Joe's been walking the neighborhood for years, leaving flyers updating us all on market conditions and etc. Among other things I learned from these is that one of his specialties is knowing what to do to fix up a house to bring a good sale price. I knew my house needed paint, anyway, but I wasn't too sure what else would make sense. So I brought in Joe to guide me. I told him we'd do anything that brought a positive return in the sale price, and beyond that pretty much put myself in his hands. We ended up doing quite a bit. Joe ended up acting as project manager, bringing in a design consultant to advise on paint colors and such, then scheduling all the painters, floor guys, countertop guys, landscapers, etc, etc. I would not have expected, or felt comfortable demanding, this level of support, but Joe just jumped in and did it! About all I had to do was write some checks. I believe the money spent fixing up the place came back at least 3x over, probably more, when the house sold (for more money than I would have dreamed of going in). Here I've talked about expertise and work ethic. Highest ratings on both! Joe's also just a really pleasant person to work with, I enjoyed it a lot. I would absolutely recommend him to be your realtor.

I honestly cannot say enough good things about Joe. Super smart, knows his stuff, pleasant, patient, helpful, you name it! My husband and I had been looking for a home for some time with different realtors and it was amazing how different and better the experience was once we switched over to Joe. He was always available, never pushy - and showed us any house we wanted to see at any time. (And there were a lot...) When the right one came along he worked his magic to get us into it for the right price. He's also been so helpful through the close with any questions and even recommendations on contractors, painters, etc. And perhaps what was most impressive is how responsive he has been with follow up questions or issues after we closed on our house and technically his work was done.
