I hired Joe Schwalbach to assist me sell a difficult property during a stressful point in my life. I was in the middle of a divorce and needed to sell a rental property. The home had developed a variety of structural problems making it difficult to sell, as it needed significant repairs. Joe put in a lot of work and effort to find the right buyer for our sale, and he was able to help me get the property sold and avoid sustaining a loss. Joe was extremely responsive to my calls and emails, and always kept me updated on the status of the listing. As I live out of state in a different time zone, he often would make himself available to me for calls after hours, when he was busy, to make sure I knew what was happening. As my soon to be ex-wife and I do not communicate well, Joe was double tasked with the need to individually update each of us about what was occurring - making his job sometimes twice as hard. Despite all of this, Joe was always friendly, thoughtful, and an overall good person who worked hard to get my property sold. He genuinely cared out helping get the house sold and he cares about doing the right thing. Our property had a tenant living inside who appeared to be going through some personal struggles, and it appears that Joe also took some of his own time to counsel her and try to help her make better choices in her own life.
