Our lot sale in Nellie Gail represented a very challenging task for Joanne Bunte. Selling a lot is very difficult because banks won't finance the purchase of a lot without the improvements (house) already in place. Furthermore, we were not interested in selling the lot below a certain sales price that we had in mind which, according to several other local realtors, was too high. So, our ideal buyer would have to pay a lot of cash for an "expensive" lot. This reduced the number of qualified buyers significantly. Several other agents volunteered to sell the lot but the offers they got were not accepted. But when Joanne took over as our agent she provided acceptable offers from two well-qualified buyers fairly quickly. We were pleasantly surprised. Joanne simply had the insight, patience, expertise and relaxed demeanor that could win the day. Our lot sold.
