Born in Bronx, NY, Jim McElhinney spent 20 years in Clifton, New Jersey, and 20 years in Linwood, New Jersey, before finally settling on Florida’s Gulf Coast in Bradenton.Having worked for thirty seven years as a postmaster and manager for the postal service,Jim’s professional background placed him directly within the communities he served. In this role, he learned to distinguish and appreciate all the amenities and charms that make each neighborhood special. This experience proved to be a natural starting point for when he transitioned his career to the real estate industry as a referral agent in 1985.Jim has long been an active part of his community, and is a longstanding member of the Fraternal Order of Elks and the Loyal Order of Moose. He also volunteers his time as a little league all-star manager and a coach for both soccer and basketball.
