Our most recent sale was tarnished by a less than ideal experience of the buyer. This also transacted through the same agency. We experienced direct contact from the buyer as well as many negotiations, and challenges post contract. While respecting that this was most likely buyer led, we felt that there were fundamental flaws in proper communication and that the buyers were not transparent or trustworthy in their dealings.
Considering the agency represented both the buyer and the seller, and there were several issues after the contract was signed, this should have been handled better by the buyers representation. We had been assured that the buyers would not be problematic on this transaction, as there were difficulties in an offer on this property a year prior.
