The home I put up for sale on June 13th finally sold & closed on September 30th. Our original listing price of $258,000 lingered longer than I would have expected due to our advantageous circumstances including market interest rates, time of year for listing on market, quaintness of home & upscale neighborhood. Unfortunately due to circumstances, we accepted an offer of $192,000. Largely because I did not want this to linger any longer than necessary being that home had been vacated for almost 3 years & wanted this off my plate.
