Jacqui McCartin is the realtor that worked with us on the recent sale of our home of 24 years in Henniker, NH. It was an opportunity to both reconnect with a friend that I had not seen in over 10 years as well as to work with a skilled realtor with +/-30 years of experience who quickly and accurately determined a reasonable asking price for our home in relation to selling prices of comparable homes in the area. We had 2 offers in the first week that met the asking price! Yay!!! She was always responsive to questions and continually gave us advice re: maximizing the appeal of the house to prospective buyers. It was not always a smooth process - a ceiling fan in a bedroom stopped working, but we managed to find a local electrician who was immediately available and fixed it. One of the movers put his foot through a previously undiagnosed weak spot in the floor of the adjacent barn/garage and had to go to a local ER, delaying the move by a day while the moving company found a replacement for him. The electrician who fixed the fan recommended 2 local contractors who were immediately available to give estimates to repair the floor...but would not be available for 2-3 months to actually do the work, due to preexisting commitments. Jacqui worked with the buyers to agree to proceed with the closing, despite the fact that the repair work would be delayed. Our only regret is that Jacqui is not available to help us find a house in Maryland, where we are moving to. She has been a skilled, effective realtor, and it was great to reconnect with her. Jacqui was great! We were moving from the Buffalo NY area back to So. NH and she knew there was alot of stress on our end. She sent us houses/condos to look at online and we kept changing what we were looking for and she kept right on top of that. She knew we were stressed by the 10 hour drives to look at properties and completely understood our anxiety. We saw the condo online we liked and immediately called and she set up an appointment to see it. Jacqui went through each step of the paperwork process and we now live in a new home we love.
