Hadley was our realtor for our first home. She was very professional, very helpful, highly responsive, and extremely approachable. There’s almost too much to share about how much we loved working with and would highly recommend the Elston Team for any of your real estate needs! Hadley, Sunny, and Steve truly went above and beyond throughout the entire process of us finding and ultimately buying our first home in Everett. From the very beginning, Hadley accommodated every last minute showing request, answered every question we had, and gave her honest opinion on the homes we looked at when we asked. She reached out to every listing agent to gain insight on other offers and what the sellers might be looking for in an offer. When it came time to build one of the few offers we made on a home, Hadley walked us through all of our options to make our offer competitive and even prepared CMA’s (comparable homes) for us when we were trying to decide what to offer on a home. She facilitated several calls with title companies to make sure no easements or issues were present on the titles of homes we liked. On top of all of that, Hadley provided recommendations on our lender, home inspector, drain specialist, and more. Whenever Hadley wasn’t able to show a home to us, either Sunny or Steve would step in. We can’t stress how useful that was in this crazy market where showings are limited and homes go pending in a blink of an eye. Sunny is extremely knowledgable about important aspects and details of a home and even shared her wisdom on investment/remodeling opportunities for houses we saw. Steve was actually who showed us the home we ultimately had our offer accepted on. As someone who has always wanted to own an old home, Steve had a flashlight in hand and explained to me some of the good and not so great parts of our home, which was extremely helpful and appreciated. Before that showing, we actually put in an offer for another old home (100+ years old) that needed a lot of work; Hadley set up a call with us and Steve to go over the inspection report together and get a better idea about what repairs costs might look like from his personal experience. When we got our offer accepted on our home, Hadley prepared us a calendar on when we could expect parts of the home closing process to occur; she even had the idea to take a photo of us in front of our new home! During packing, she was kind enough to let us borrow her dolly and even dropped off some packing supplies! On our closing date, Hadley personally dropped off the keys along with a curated, sweet gift basket that included items that really showed how much she listened and got to know us. I can guarantee that the random realtor your mom or friend recommended to you is nowhere close to the Elston Team in terms of service, knowledge, and genuine care about finding you the perfect home.

Hadley, Sunny, and Steve team did an incredible job helping me buy a home for the first time. Hadley showed my now ex-wife and I around some starter homes a few years ago, but we realized that we needed to save up a larger down payment. When I was divorced in 2019, I moved in with family to save money over an apartment. While covid-19 was complicating things for everyone, I still met my savings goal and started the pre-approval process with my bank in early 2021.
