But when you have to move in a drawn out legal process I don't think you could find a more compassionate, non-judgmental, caring person than Gennell. It took over a year from the first time I reached out to her for us to finally get all the ducks in a row and complete the process, and she stuck with me throughout. You don't find people with that kind of commitment any longer!! She helped me catch details I would have missed (a water spot on the bathroom ceiling where a leak had occurred after a massive storm), she got me the number of an emergency water crew (after the painters neglected to hook the water hose back up on the washer when finished painting). Not only did she do all this with grace and compassion, she has checked in with me several times after the deal was done to make sure I was doing well. Gennell was amazing and crucial in the sale of a property with some complicated issues. I had bought the property years ago, but a close family member lived in it. When he died, I did not wish to hold onto a nearly 100 year old house, in a town in which I did not live, as a rental property. So, I needed to sell something with various aging property issues, located in a state 900 miles from my home. She was fantastic. Gennell explained terms like "due diligence" that are not used in my current home state. Even though the house was a "fixer upper", we had to field several competing offers. Gennell guided me through them. We did not pick the "highest", but we picked the most solid offer. She then assured that we had a clean closing (dealing with the buyer's agent) even though I live over 900 miles away. I was very pleased with the experience.
