Ellen Cummings has an exceptional eye for design and a deep understanding of how to make a home stand out in today’s real estate market. I benefitted from her 30+ years of professional experience and her a unique ability to balance aesthetics with practicality with a recent major home update. During our recent kitchen renovation, Ellen’s creative input transformed our outdated space into a modern, functional centerpiece. She suggested using Quartzite for its durability and natural beauty, and recommended that we update our island with clean square corners, instead of the rounded corners we had previously. She also helped us with stylish product recommendations for our backsplash tiles, kitchen sink, bar sink, faucets, kitchen hood, and cabinet hardware. Her suggestions were thoughtful, tailored to current trends, and budget conscious to achieve our goal for a high-end look without unnecessary expenses. Her guidance saved us countless hours of research and helped us to quickly make smart decisions. We couldn’t be happier with the results of our renovation and highly recommend Ellen for her unparalleled expertise in luxury design trends that are not only stunning but also retain their value for potential future resale. If you’re looking for a creative edge in the real estate market, Ellen is the professional you want on your team!

We began working with Ellen after several fruitless months searching on our own, and within a week Ellen found our house! She negotiated on our behalf, and our offer was quickly accepted. Having not purchased a house in several decades, we needed a lot of help navigating the process, and Ellen was there for every step. Her advice was exhaustive and on point. Very highly recommended!!

Patient, kind, thoughtful, very knowledgeable about the area & extremely professional, Ellen is the one to have in your corner when it comes to either renting or purchasing a house. She is an ally, a friend, an advisor and helped us navigate a difficult time when it came to our house! First in renting & currently helping us to buy one. We feel like we are constantly “ahead of the curve” in every step of the process, which is entirely due to Ellen’s thoroughness and dedication. We always know that Ellen has us covered. Ellen is a gem, We cannot imagine a better experience and cannot wait to refer her to other people moving forward.

I couldn't recommend Ellen enough. Her knowledge of the Fairfield County area is unmatched, from the first conversation with her it is clear  that she really knows the ins and outs of the area. Once we signed our contract with Ellen she worked tirelessly on the sale of our house. Ellen hosted multiple open houses, proactively reached out to other agents and brokers that she thought might have clients that were looking for houses like the one we were selling, and she marketed our house in multiple local publications. Without Ellen I don't think we would have received the offer that we did. I will be using Ellen for all my future house buying and selling needs!

Ellen expertly handled the listing, working with the staging company to make sure the layout and furniture installed showcased our home’s best features. She also made sure the photography was perfect, and that house plans accompanied the listing. These details were so important in this Covid environment. She used social media to market open houses. Just 3 weeks later, we were in contract!
