Elizabeth was an absolute joy to work with. As someone who jumped into the market rather suddenly, I knew I would need to rely heavily (if not exclusively) on the knowledge and expertise of whoever I ended up working with. Despite being completely new to the home-buying process in general - after just a short introductory call, Elizabeth quickly alleviated any concerns or hesitations I had and completely put my mind at ease. I immediately felt that I could trust her, and that she would be there every step of the way. After sending her just a handful of random examples of properties, and highlighting the things that I liked/disliked about them - Elizabeth had no difficulty whatsoever understanding what I was looking for. This became increasingly apparent as we visited various listings, as she was able to seamlessly point out the subtle details that she knew I would like - or potentially dislike about the properties. As a matter of fact, I trusted her knowledge, expertise, and understanding of my preferences so much that I ended up putting an offer on my new home "sight unseen" (*gasp*)! That said, it definitely did not feel as scary as those words may sound to anyone who has dabbled in real estate... I had told Elizabeth that I wouldn't need her to send me any listings that particular week, since I would be out of town between the time these properties were listed and when the offers were due. However, Elizabeth nonetheless called me that weekend indicating that there was a particular property that popped up on her radar, and that she felt like I would want to seriously consider it. She graciously agreed to schedule an appointment and make the hour-long drive to the property, just so that she could get all of our questions answered, and take me on a very detailed virtual walk-through. Long story short - she was spot on with her hunch that this would be the property for me, and I was extremely fortunate to have my offer accepted and ultimately close on it last week. I am certainly not advocating or encouraging anyone to purchase property "sight unseen" (and I think Elizabeth would agree), but I thought my experience in this case helps to illustrate a few of the qualities that I think make Elizabeth stand out as a real estate professional. Of course I was incredibly grateful that she was willing to put in the effort to coordinate a virtual walk-through for me, but even more impressive was her commitment to MY best interests. Despite being let off the hook that week (which she could have used as an opportunity to focus on other clients), Elizabeth continued to keep me in mind. At the end of the day I don't really know if that is the kind of service she consciously thinks about providing... from what I've seen, I think that's just who she is.
