She earned a BS from Mars Hill College. After college she began her business career in sales and convention planning. She earned her NC real estate license to sell her Contractor husbands spec homes, then as her knowledge and experience grew she gravitated to general brokerage and quickly became a Top Producer in the local MLS and Asheville Board of Realtors. She broadened her skills to re-sale real estate, new home construction and land development.
