We found Diane Faulkner, in an out-of-the-ordinarily way. And as it fortunately turned out, Diane was anything but ordinary in guiding us to a successful home sale experience. In the past, we’ve found agents via the usual routes—referral, recommendation, or advertisement. For whatever reason, we decided to simply scroll through agent profiles on the Long and Foster website. We sensed good vibes while reviewing Diane’s profile, and then noted her last name: the same as the name of the street that we happened to live on. The stars seemed aligned. We reached out to her the next day. We knew that we had “location, location, location” on our side—a top school district with easy access to key transportation arteries. But the house itself needed updates and freshening up. The problem: Among other things, we were absorbed with the care of children dealing with significant health issues. We had little time or energy to manage renovations. Diane stepped in, big time! She vetted contractors, compared quotes, and made regular trips to home improvement stores. She handled the inevitable complications that arose. And she did all this with a smile on her face and a comforting assurance in her voice. In the end, the stars did indeed align, and Diane achieved results beyond our expectations. You may recall the television show “Touched by an Angel.” I can’t remember if a real estate agent was ever featured in an episode, but if one did, she would have resembled Diane Faulkner. We simply cannot imagine having gone through the process of renovation and preparation for the sale of our home without Diane. In short, she is an extraordinary professional and individual. If you are fortunate enough to work with her in any aspect of a real estate transaction, consider yourself… blessed.
