Mark and Debbie McCormick worked together as a fabulous team to help us sell our large, lakefront home in a changing market. We had a terrific initial meeting with them. Debbie followed up with lots of information about what they and their company (Berkshire Hathaway) does for clients, numerous documents to explain the selling process, and references. We contacted their references and they were all very favorable. It was difficult to determine the selling price because our house was a ‘unicorn” without any good comparable properties. They were able to explain how they came up with a price and it worked out well for us. They have great working relationships with stagers, photographers (including drone photographer), painters, landscapers, electricians etc. This network came in handy especially during the last week after we received the buyer’s inspection report and the buyers wanted many items handled in the week before closing. Mark and Debbie are both very personable, professional, responsive, and overall, a joy to work with. We have lived in many parts of the country and bought and sold many properties. Working with the McCormicks has been our best real estate experience. We highly recommend them.
Debbie and Mark helped us sell at $1.8 million dollar home in Meadowmont in 2025. It was a tough time in the market and not a lot of inventory was moving. They were persistent in following up with potential buyers and their agents. They eventually helped us close at a price that was solid in such a tough market. What made Debbie and Mark stand out was how they stepped up when the house was already under contract, but not yet closed. We had a toilet overflow from the main flow into the AC vent work and through the ceiling of the finished basement. We were on a tight deadline and they helped us arrange contractors for the multiple aspects of the job. We had to leave town a few days before the jobs were finished and they took over and saw it through to the end. They saved the sale and our mental health. I tried to offer them extra payment, but they insisted it was just part of the job. If we ever move back to the Triangle will will definitely use the McCormick Team.
