Discovery, uncertainty, apprehension, and indecision were indicative of the emotions we felt as complete novices to the process of buying - coupled with a move to the suburbs after 20+ years of living on the Upper East Side almost seemed like insurmountable odds. We moved in August and Cini Palmer was instrumental in the accomplishment!Cini navigated us through an 18 month parkour negotiating obstacles (often our uncertainty) with empathy, devotion, and a depth of knowledge which allowed us to complete the process with a sense of achievement and realization that we made the right choice across all stages of the purchasing cycle. It is not easy for urban to go suburban and even less for renters to leap into first time buyers. We had worked with other realtors prior to Cini; however, the adroitness, the competence, the dexterity, along with who and what she knows in the area were key.Patience and engagement are operatives for buyers like us and Cini was that. We would call, text, show up at open houses and solicit her opinion or presence with little notice. Cini would always be available to answer, to show, to give direction, and join us. Cini would show us what we liked and what she liked - being candid with her observations, for or against in order to give a complete sense of the potential of each house and what we would be facing. We asked a lot! There was a failed attempt which she told us to walk away from after the bidding started running away. There wasSaturday night call and visit request which she made happen - we passed. And there was a Monday morning 10:00am visit with seal bids at noonwhile she was on vacation which she scrambled to make happen - we bought that one.She is committed to excellence and to her client. Cini is what we (and I am sure many buyers) envision as the ideal real estate agent. We felt privileged to have her on our side. She is the embodiment of a real estate agent: fair, knowledgeable, patient, empathetic, and caring.
